I have to admit here in northern cal, Chris and i were pretty awed by the whole opening pomp, especially the drumming. China's leaving out the cultural revolution part was pretty telling, though. I originally posted those photos in this blog post: Putting the <a href="http://chinahopelive.net/2007/06/24/putting-the-omg-in-Smog" rel="nofollow">OMG! in Smog</a> but we still had lots of fun going to see a soccer match and watching the Opening Ceremony outside on the big screen with a few thousand other people! hi, thanks for the link.
